Wildfire Season Readiness: SDG&E Kicks Off 2026 Safety Fair Series

As peak wildfire season approaches, preparation can play an important role in community safety. SDG&E is hosting a series of no-cost Wildfire Safety Fairs open to the public to share emergency preparedness resources and information.

These events offer practical information on steps people can take to prepare for wildfire and other emergencies, including how to build an emergency supply kit, create an emergency plan and make adjustments around a home that may help reduce wildfire exposure. Information will be available from SDG&E and regional emergency preparedness partners.

Fair Dates
May 2, 2026: Ramona - Outdoor Community Center, 421 Aqua Lane, Ramona, CA 92065
June 27, 2026: Alpine - Joan MacQueen Middle School, 2011 Tavern Rd, Alpine, CA 91901
